The South Alberta Horse Artillery is a group of military history enthusiasts operating as a field gun detachment of the Regiment of Canadian Artillery during the 1885 North West Rebellion. The group has a reproduction cannon approximating the size and appearance of the British 9-pounder Rifled Muzzle Loading Gun used at that time, together with a full-size limber permitting deployment of the equipment with a team of horses when circumstances permit.
